I figured somebody might want to see the video that was shot.
A how to video on spiking your hair with soap, hair glue, and hair spray. It was done mostly for fun but also because I have gotten more than a few people who ask me how it works. :)
It is more time consuming for sure than the knox way I am doing now.
What would take me so long with the soap way is that I would be really picky and want very few gaps. If you don't give a fuck at all about gaps and chunks it only takes about 10 minutes I would say. Especially if you have shorter hair.
wow that sucks. Mine is never down haha I hate the way my hair looks/acts when not spiked...makes me feel more weird than having an obnoxious pink mohawk standing up =)
I took it down a few weeks ago for one night though because I promised my girlfriend that the first night that we slept together (not sexually, physically together in same bed) I would take it down.
She actually loves my mohawk though and is the one that got me into doing the obnoxious pink. I considered it for awhile then she mentioned it and I told her I was thinking about it so that made the decision I think.
This seems to be the best I have found for when hair gets longer. It is fast and reliable once you get it down to how you need it for your own hair. A lot of insanely long mohawks and spikes have been done with knox and will hold well if you use a thicker mix.
Mine is nowhere near the length of yours at the moment but I have seen ones that length and longer that were apparently done with knox and as mine gets longer I notice that for me it really has become the best method.
It may not be as good for longer hair but it can probably still work. Just have to tweak it for your own hair I guess and figure it out. As I have said, my hair is ridiculously fine and as it is getting longer I was spending way too much time on getting a decent fan.
