In the US, 1 in 12 are murdered.
In the UK, 1 in 30 are murdered.
The average trans person can expect to live to the age of 24.

Nah. Average life expectancy of 24 with a median coming-out age of 42. This quite plainly shows that the closet is a stressful and unhealthy place to be.

I'd expect that the murders and suicide brought it down a bit though. I get more and more paranoid every time I see stuff about transgender murder rates.
