Mohawks Rock

So my Earlocks are about 5 inches long, and the one on my left is okay, it lies straight down along the side of my face, but the right one always wants to curl outwards from my face. I have tried using gels, hairspray, lotion, water, freezing spray, and nothing works.....it might lay flat for a few mins, then will want to curl outwards from my face again. It is starting to drive me crazy. Has anyone out there experienced this and how did you correct it??

My hairs naturally curly so that was one thing I was afraid of. I have to blow dry or flat iron my curls especially my bangs. Its really a a pain. Then my bangs still turn a little bit wavy during the day.

Yeah, my hair does this as well and it's frustrating cause it's just random peices that look hella weird when they do it. I use the flat iron to do as much straightening as I can and then try to ignore it...

A flat iron is the best way to correct this unfortunately. Sometimes hair is just damn stubborn.

If you are really lucky though coming it straight down after every shower and making sure it dries that way (don't sleep on it wet) can help keep it from curling.. but this doesn't always work out.

Thanks everyone for the good advice.......I have been using a flat iron, and that is way better. Once again, you people have helped me out! :-)

Glad it worked out! I just shaved off my fringe so that I have sideburns again and now I need to get a flat iron! I have a habit of tucking them behind my ears when I am around the house so they get a weird curve to them that I don't want when I am going out lol.
