maybe try a hair mask before you cut anything more? its what they suggest when you over bleach your hair and it starts to snap...
lots of conditioner and hair placenta
thanks ill try that
You can either use olive oil from home or buy a pack of olive oil for hair in the shampoo/conditioner aisle. Its actually intended for ethnic hair but it really helps if your hair is completely fried.. its super cheap too.
olive oil just makes hair smooth and shiny..

deep condition, use a hair mask, and do a hot oil treatment. try not to put any strain on your hair unless you have to (try not to brush/comb, put it up, do anything that tugs/pulls, etc). trim off as much as you can bear to as well..
What the others said, and let your hair get a bit greasy, even though it may itch and be a pain, the natural oils from your scalp will help condition your hair, so let your body help you :)

And try to avoid blowdrying it or drying it too harsly with your towel, just sorta pad the hair or hug the water out of it slightly with the towel and let it airdry. OH and if you can, get some leave in conditioner!
thats how your always spose to dry both your hair and your skin.. pat not rub with a towel.. it keeps moisture in your skin/hair
