Mohawks Rock

I have never really wanted to spike my hawk....it's not really my style. But what I want to do it make it poofed...like this. Now I know that I'll need a good hair spray and have to tease it. But does anyone have any ideas on how to easily obtain this? I have issues teasing my hair (in all honesty I think it might be the wrong comb) but if someone has ideas/tips on products, combs, anything...please help!

I use the wave curling irons - makes it look like I have extensions in - very cool - but I also have a lot of hair -despite 2/3 of it being shaved...it is also still past my shoulders.  I like the textured curling irons - the cone ones make it interesting too.  Sometimes I just french braid down the center and after it dries (the next morning) I undo it and it poofs -then spray:)  I also do the twist braids -french style down the center.  If you are bleached, I think it makes the hair easier to poof up.  I use only Aussie products on my hair - the Mousse is good for lift and ratting after my hair dries. Then it looks ok for a cuople days.   I like the pic you posted - with the bangs.  I am not brave enough to hack mine tho...:)  I have the same sides but they tend to curl.

http://www.wikihow.com/Tease-Your-Hair this page describes how to tease your hair more in depth, I also reccomend either using a rat-tail comb, or a teasing brush. The brushes look like this:

also, dry shampoo helps a lot.

Awesome!!! TY :D
