in some areas there are many, in some areas there are few. i live in memphis TN (a,.k.a. a town with few) with my boyfriend. when ever we see another punk, its an instant feeling of hey, if we ever saw that guy in trouble, weve got his back. enough people hate us already, we shouldnt hate each other. personally, i think we shouldnt hate anybody. but how do you love the punks whose values and ideals are totally different than yours? such as a racist punk...i cant stand racism.
so yeah, what does punk love mean to you?

I grew up in a small town where like you there were few and far between who were like my boyfriend and I. Even though within the loose group that we had there may have been differences, when someone tried to gain up on one of our "friends" we always stuck with them. However with that being said, I'm the type of person who will always stick up for someone who is being bullied, put down, or needs help that's just the type of person I am.
Dealing with somebody who holds values that you despise can be difficult; that really is up to you how you want to deal with a person like that. If being their friend knowing the values they hold bothers you then it wouldn't be beneficial to both parties which is the definition of friendship. You can't always love everybody, and hate is such a draining feeling.
i guess it would just mean accepting that not all punks are the same. Im definitly an odd one.. i grew up in a small town & grew up on classic rock & knew nothing of punk music or culture, i went through a hippie phase, my favorite band is led zeppelin, yet i ended up with a mohawk. (hair school) i think the true definition of punk would be that you dont give a rats ass what people think of you, you're a unique anti-cookie cutter individual, and you are happy being you and you dont let anybody get you down. And no matter what you stick up for other people and your friends. the mohawk is like a symbol of who we all are and our individual personalities. So it keeps us glued together :P
