People in NYC
Ok...so I have been invited to play at ABC No Rio on Valentines Day 2009 as part of the first ever noise show matinee to happen there.
The person who has invited me said my girlfriend and myself could stay at his place a few days to help with the traveling we have to do. He lives about an hour away he says so is there anybody in NYC who lives closer to ABC that would be interested in having the two of us for a couple of nights? There is plenty of time to get this figured out but obviously the sooner the better.
This will be my first time in NYC so I know nothing about where is where =) About us though..we are very mild mannered and respectful. We do not party at all nor drink or do any drugs. We are not gonna wreck up the place or anything like that.
It would probably be for 2 nights...Friday the 13th and Sat the 14th. It is abotu a 10 hour drive from where we live here in Western NY and the weather on this side of the state is HORRIBLE that time of the year with possibility of lake effect snow which could transform 10 hours into 15+ easy depending on how bad a storm it could be. Once out past Syracuse the snow is not that intense if there is any but the lake areas get shit on with snowstorms....so we are trying to take measures to ensure we can get there early, relax and just enjoy it rather than stressing it, driving a long time straight, playing a show right after, then heading back.
so yeah...any help would be awesome!
Also, anybody that would want to just come out to the show to meet and hang out would be awesome as well!!

If that is the case and I ever do the Aussie tour you will be the first person I look at =p
I actually wanted to come to Australia in January but it is not gonna happen and I am bummed. Mournful Congregation is playing their first ever live show there. You probably will not understand why I am so pumped about that but they are an epic, massive and amazing funeral doom band that has been playing since 1994 and not released one bad song. They recorded a perfect album in my opinion with their last one....to see them live would be absolutely amazing...........but I guess I will just keep dreaming about it =p

If I lived out of my parents house and like.. actually in NYC instead of on the Island then sure! Hahaha
