How do you get a fluffy hawk to stay up for a long period of time?

bleh bleh blehh, so I just got my mohawk over the summer, and Im starting school again soon and im wondering is there any way to keep your fluffy mohawk up during school or something like that?

how are you styling it currently? we cant really tell you what you are doing wrong or what you need to change if we dont know how you style it.

Well, I tease the base of it first, on one side then the other and I just keep going up and  using hairspray as I go. Then I hairspray it when im done.
