Tattoo/Body mod Conventions

This is for anyone who's ever been to a tattoo or body modification convention. Share the experience. I have yet to be at one but I"m thinking of going to one relatively soon, if I can find one local. But anyway! Who's got some stories to tell!?

Hmmm, I was going to go to NIX this year (Northern Ink Xposure) which is hosted in Toronto. I went to the BBQ my shop had before the convention, but I couldn't make it to the convention...... maybe next year though :D

I heard it was a pretty good convention. Although last year's was apparently better.

i found one but i turned up too late for most of the tattooing. there was one guy getting the trad polynesian that looked painful. there was a kind-of party for the end of the convention that we were at and got to see some burlesque dancing which was nice.

i think the best thing was seeing the actual tattooing and just being in the environment. one of the people i was with said she was overwhelmed by the smell but to me it was the noise that was most off-putting. was nice to go somewhere with no pressure to get inked or leave and just get used to it. feel much better about getting a tattoo now, only problem is my dad would most likely disown me :(

iv been to several of them and normally they fuckn are kick ass.....usually ok to walk around with a brew....whats koo is being iwth people just like us....pierced inked an no fuckn mainstream assholes...except the hotel employees that look at us like were shit...but its koo fuckin with them

lots in buzzing goin on from the tat machines which is koo...an meet lots of kool chicks an dudes

total 3 day party usually. nights are fuckn wicked...every 1 i went to...the htoel floos smell like pot...fuck yea

also kool fuckn with the non tattoed guests....
