i have guys hit on me and after i tell them no thanks, they then say something along the lines of i didn't want a freak with a shaved head anyways. or call me a dyke, yes because i must be a dyke to refuse your advances.
with liberty spikes i have been told i look like the chick off guitar hero, and had someone say they wanted to put condoms on the spikes.
and girls always ask if they can lick the sides of my head
been called an indian, or had people ask what race i am and when i say cherokee they go "oh thats why your hair is like that" no, cherokees didn't have mohawks.
people always assume i am mean, which isn't true at all. i had to stop at a yellow light the other day, and the girl in the car behind me starts yelling and flips me off, so i flipped her back off. then she decides to follow me to the store where she gets out of her car and starts walking to mine, as soon as i got out of the car though she ran back to hers, and took off.i was upset that someone thought i looked that mean/scary.
one of the best though was when i was out with my husband and some friend when we get pulled over, the cops wants to see everyones id's, and i explain that i don't look the same in mine because my hair isn't the same, and i was 9 months preg when i got it renewed. he says well let me see your hair so i leaned forward and he then says "that's fucking bad ass" and we got out of the ticket.
umm, the worst is after i just got my mohawk, i went to downtown. i was waiting for the bus and these 2 drunk russians came to me. he called me a fashist [just because im latvian. god i hate communists.] and the other one just yelled at him and dragged him away. :D
the MOST hilarious was when i was on the bus to my friends house, these 2 women get on with their kids, they were like 2years old and a baby. so and the baby in the baby carriage was staring at me. like this > O.O for the whole trip. :D the whole bus laughed hard.
Either when I was biking past a primary school and some kid said to his mum 'I though wacky hair day was on friday?' or when I walked into school after the holidays and it;d grown about an inch and a teacher just said 'You've gone too far' looking horrified hahaha
Everyone but my mother seems to love/ not care about when I wear my hair up. But my mum.. dear God. You'd have thought someone had shot her in the stomach repeatedly the first time she saw my hawk. (Keep in mind I've only ever had a faux-hawk. Not even the real deal here.) >>'
To this day she still despises it. Makes wearing it a pain in the ass. Just another reason to look forward to moving the frick out..
Walking down a residential street in St. John's, NFL, this crusty construction truck stops with two guys in it. They stop and looked at me, one smiling. The dood in the passenger seat started doing that 'I'm white acting like an Indian" pow wow chant, throwing his hands in the air.... and they drove away.
Don't know if it's because it's rare to see brown people on the island or if it's Because of the pink mohawk I had at the time, but it was funny as fuck.
