How to tie Doc M's so that the laces are like this = all the way up?

Gday,

I was wondering how this is done, I see it alot and it seems so confusing to me.

This is how I wear them, you gotta take the whole lace out, knot one end, and it start it at the bottom of the lace holes. just lace it up in a spiral, and when you pull it tight on your foot, the holes line up nicely like in that photo you attached.
Ouh, I know this one! Start at the bottom holes with the laces evenly on each end. Let's say the boot is facing the way you're going to wear them... Have the laces going towards the inside of the boot on both bottom holes. Take the right lace and bring it out the second right hole away from you, then put it into the left hole towards the inside of the boot. Take the left lace and pull it through the third left hole away from you, then insert it into the right third hole towards the inside of the boot. You'll basically be taking turns with the laces right to left and left to right, all the way up the boot. Hopefully that made sense!!!

check out this video! he shows two different ways to do it.  btw, it's called straight lacing :P goood luck!
