Hair dye's

Hey everyone, I'm new here and was just wondering what kind of hair dye everyone uses? I want to dye my hair purple as my next color for Coachella 2011 (mainly for Gogol Bordello - Start Wearing Purple).

After my ex broke up with me I don't really know where to get hair dye or what brands are good and what not (Her friend is a hair stylist that was really good with hair dye and has done my hair up to this point). So yeah, what do you all use and where do you find it?

I've never had dye's so strong, vibrant, rich, long lasting and shampoo resistant. They're the best i've used. Only problem is when you want to bleach the dye out, it will take a few goes and a lot of washes(depending on how faded it is). Its the only dye i want to use.

I've been compiling it together with the help from a lot of people's experiences about different dyes. There's about 6 purples in the list, I think. Remember to let us know how your dye works out there, when you decide on one. =]
