depends on what u mean by skills(professions, certain class skills).

i like the changes personally ill list some for you. many things have changed with the classes , pretty much each class has to do stuff different than they use to. but that happened before cata in patch 4.0 don't know if u played the trial when it was active. lets see paladin healers cant just spam holy light anymore same with priest they cant spam flash heal theres not enough mana regen to do so.In dungeons (at least the new ones) u have to do a do alot of crowd control.

i guess in the end u gotta pay alot more attention than before. theres many other changes like stormwind looks different and so do many other places. hope this gave you a little insight on how it is now. im quite horrible at putting it into words >.<.

Thanks for that, though - I kinda liked being a healing spamming paladin when I tried the earlier game. heheh

 

I guess I'll need to start a new character sometime to see for myself what other changes around.  I think the thing that put me off WoW was the lack of professions I could do at once with my character.  I like being a Jack-of-all-trades with a character, mainly because I get bored doing just a few things and prefer switching tasks to round a character out.  Also like being self-sufficient, so fishing for my food, mining and smelting my own stuff, etc.  I suspect that hasn't become possible?

 

Good to know though you like the changes, better than just reading a reviewer's view really.

o we got a new profession that everyone can learn, archaeology  its called so u get one more.(its a secondary profession like first aid and fishing and what not). ya i miss being able to spam on my priest :(. you can fish your own food and cook it so its a little self sufficent. but ya still cant have more than 2 main professions. but its a little better.

if you every try it again tell me how it goes :) if for some reason you end up on my realm ill certainly help u out.

I tried Lord of the Rings Online today and what surprised me was that it's like a clone of what WoW was like!  Though I'm afraid it's already losing my attention after seeing it too is restrictive and kinda forces you into making alt characters to explore professions and support your main.
