i need some help bad.
so today i decided to dye the tips of my hawk red. i bought some n rage red hair color. I do everything it says to do, and i get my hair dyed. For a brief moment i was happy because when my hair was still wet it looked the color i wanted. As soon as it dried it turned this magenta/red color. its actually more pink than red.... so i get an idea to dye it again with the leftover dye, which ends up turning it even more pink!!!!
the good news is the color is really bright and vibrant.
the bad news is i really dont want pink hair.
does anyone know what i can do to either get it red or to get it out quicker? i suppose i can shampoo more often, but what else.

you could always get some special effects nuclear red. I always used that on my hair and it was always a vibrant red. If you want to get it out quicker leave the shampoo in your hair longer or you can use some soap. Or you could cheat and bleach it again.

If you bleach it again the pink tones usually get brighter. you can try using a darker toned dye over it, like manic panic red passion or special effects nuclear red. i've used them in my hair, it worked pretty well. apparently manic panic vampire red works well. sometimes candy apple reds turn out well, but they usually have more pink tones in them. using garnier leave-in conditioner gets dye out real quick, but if your hair is a borderline white, then its pink forever unless you just dye over it with non-suck dye like Special Effects or Directions

punky colour
has millions of colours of red and they dye over other colors easier
if you re bleach it, it wouldnt really kill your hair and when you died it again it would probably come out pinker.
i might suggest like fire red or mandarin of punky colour. mandarin is like red red. orrr.... maybe you could see how a blue would look

get like a real red (may be a darker one)leave it in their longer (i usually leave the stuff in my hair for an hour or two and it's usually pretty dark even though my hair is not bleached and it's light brown) and maybe blowdry it while the dye is in your hair.. Good luck, hope you can fix it

go and buy another dye....... a darker red one, or maybe if you get a burgundy type one and dye over the top of the pink?? any result has to be better than pink ey?
