Animals
Since I have not seen a discussion on this may as well start one, talk about your pets and so on....
Stray cat, "boo boo" as some of you may know, will be staying with me now, as before I wanted to find him a home, but he is just too sweet!
What would be your ideal pet?
Update: Possibly putting my cat down in the next few days.. :(
Not Boo Boo but my other cat Madison, he's 14.

I wish to become a crazy cat lady.
Anyways, I WOULD take the cat in a blink of an eye, but I don't live anywhere near there, nor do I know anyone. :/

Well, it's been decided. All the local shelters and full and not accepting any cats, so when I get my big pay check after october he's going to the vet and staying with me.
Continue random animal based jibber jabber.

I have 3 kittens, 5 dogs, 4 chickens, a rooster, 3 goldfish, and a ball python. We are animal people ^.^ we try to rescue and help find homes for animals in need as often as we can. I used to volunteer for a rescue until I found out the owner was stealing money and abusing animals :( ALWAYS do lots of research before you volunteer or donate!

same here we have 1 cat, 9 dogs right now because one of my dogs got knocked up before i had the chance to get her fixed. we ususally have 3 dogs. 1 rosehair, and reef tank. i always want to bring home stray cats, i used to, but now with 2 kids i can't bring them home, but if they are outside i feed them so they stick around

I love animals more than people. Mostly reptiles and fish (all sorts and not those little feeder aqauarium sized fish you buy at the store). And dogs.
We used to have a thread about this, but it was shut down when the group leader left the site and we had to start from square one.

I love animals so much! haha im always the person who wants to play with the stray cats and dogs in town. I've got my cat Rocky Rose, shes uhmm 14 i think, shes a fat cat (we thought she was a boy when we got her, thats why shes named Rocky). My other cat is my baby girl, Smallz or Small Fry, i think shes 4, named after the kid int he sandlot, shes gotten chubby so we call her Chubz and Lardo or Chunk. And my puppy is Kelsey Boo or Boo Boo, i think shes 6 or 7 >.< shes a husky/german shepard, shes cute haha.
All of but Smallz is from a shelter, Smallz is from a farm. Shes blind in one eye, but it makes her like pirate :D

awww!! good for you for keeping him. I know they are expensive, but the companionship is priceless. Last Feb, I had to put my oldest girl down..she was 20!!! I'd had her ALL my adult life. Seven months later and I'm still sad over losing her, even tho it was the best thing to do for her. I felt like I was losing the closest thing I'd ever had to sibling. My other little gir, Oblivian (who I call Bli for short) has only in the past few weeks stopped mourning/looking for Sadie. I also have a boy kitty, his name is Aries but I should have name him Capt. Awesome..he needs a cape and a crash helmet!
this is the last picture I have of all three of them together (which was a rare happening anyway. this was the first cold day of last year, right after we'd moved)
and this is my Bli and Aries laying together at our old apartment:
Bli is about two years older than Aries and in this picture he was actually still a kitten and not done growing...He is a huge guy and Bli was the runt of her litter. Still, Bli usually wins when they play fight. =)

Our corn snake, Odin, escaped and is somewhere in our house......
I've got two cats besides the stray, Madison and Demon. Madison is 13 and demon is 3. And then there is my rat, cthulhu! He was born in june.
