i need a teasing/backcombing step by step how to

i know there are alot of posts on how to backcomb/tease up a hawk, but i suck at it pretty hardcore. can someone make a video, or give me step by step instructions on what you do? pictures are always good to.

Um, i think it is pretty much just taking your hair, in a handful, spray with hairspray, then pull down on your hair with a brush.

Repeat. Then go over again and again with the method and keep on spraying.

Take sections of your hair and brush backwards starting at the root on up quickly with either a comb or a round brush
Concentrate the hairspray at the roots and use less at the tips. You use less at the tips otherwise your hair will flatten.
If you want you can blast it with a blow dryer.

Also if you can get your hands on a crimper I highly suggest you try it out, crimps hair teases like a dream.

alright. Django gave me the best explanation ever when I was really frustrated. (that's how you know it's great! :D)

Okay.

Brush your hair out thoroughly before you start. Separate out a lock, spray it with hairspray, then hold it out it out by the end and start at the root, Brushing DOwn toward your scalp whist (wow! I've used that word a lot today) also working up to the end of your hair. It can, and also not be a slow and tedious process. It just depends on how you want it to look. Django manages to get his light and fluffy looking, but I haven't mastered that yet. Maybe I just rush through it.
