Mohawks Rock

Almost 3500 members!
But how many of them are actually active?
How many post on the forum?
How many is anyone talking to?
We should all make it our personal mission to talk to the new members on the site, if only so we get some new ideas and angles in the forums!

TRAWL
You are not worthy of my trolling. Good day sir.
couldn't agree more!!!
I try and post, but I am more of a lurker..
I do wonder how many people sign on semi-regurlary. I don't even anymore D:
Although growing, a lot of accounts seem to have no recent activity. I was looking up California kids on this site to find out about shows/go to shows with since I just got done with finals and travel up and down the state visiting old friends. Large majority seemed to drop off mid 2009.
Yeah, always seems the active people are always far away, for me too - oddly.

I still post occasionally on the forums and I agree talking to new (& existing) folk is important to build community. It's also interesting to spark new things to share online, like someone who's maybe going to share a pic of a helmet with a cut-out of it for their mohawk, who'd joined the site recently.

But I do agree, a lot of folk are inactive, or don't actually update their own profile - or put things off and leach/lurk instead of getting the fun of taking part in the site and people on it.

Also, it's always good to not leave your profile to stagnate, because with new stuff, you build up a 'presence' and become farmiliar and people have reasons to interact. You never know what random person out there might pass by and because you responded; put up some new pics for others to relate to, it might trigger more people you want to talk to, because they have more things to respond to.

It's a domino effect, the more effort you put in, the more you potentially get out.
