whats everyones opinion on the Germs still playing without jan paul beam (darby)??? I personally think its total bullshit, no one can replace him, once the singer of a bands gone, the band is DONE. Opinions anyone???

I hate the fact they continued to play! Whats the Germs without Darby anyways? He started it, it should have finished when he died. Its just like Jello Biafra and Dead Kennedys, or Sublime continuing to play without Brad.... TOTAL BULLSHIT. I mean he only had a 5 year plan right? So by killing himself I think he was trying to get to the point that it was over.. They could have easily just started another band anyways, right?

exactly. the only reason the "germs" still play is the fact the original members need money and thats why they still play with the germs title. shane west is a bitch i went to one of their shows for the hell of it; the crowd made it a good show but he cant replace darby. jello biafra has a new band and he plays dk covers.

Yeah Shane West was definitely an odd choice to play Darby, but better than that dildo David Arquette, or whatever the fuck his name is. >___> But its cool to hear Shane talk about Darby, you can tell he respected what Darby started, but he is a douche.

That would be like getting a new guitar player for PanterA and then calling themselves PanterA. Or how I hate Smalice In Chains now, who the fuck do they think they are? Layne was the heart and soul of that band. Fuck you Jerry Cantrell.
