Yeh , i get what your getting at , but you might to rephrase ''or finger me"
OK, fixed it, lol.
Oh yes, all the time. My family doesn't like what I wear and my dad never hesitates to tell me that I look like a freak; they let me do what I want though so it's not such a huge problem. Everywhere I go I get judged for the way I look (I'm not complaining, merely stating a fact). Its not un-common for people to yell shit at me from their cars or finger at me; stares (both of awe, curiosity, and hate) are also quite common. Often, I love the kind of attention I get from the way I look; sometimes it can get to me a little though. Like, I hate the way some people seem to be scared or intimidated by me (sometimes) I'm actually a very well-spoken and polite individual yet people seem to think that I'm going to burn them alive or something. So yeah, its a very mixed bag when it comes to the reactions I get; some hate it, others love it. Some are scared by it whilst others are drawn in (I've met some pretty cool people because of how I dress.) Some hate me for it whilst others love what I do. You just have to go with what you feel and let others do the same; people will love or hate you regardless of what you do.
It's exactly the same for me. Almost all of the kids at my school are scared of me, and think i'll rip their head off or something. And then there are a few that try to pay, or bribe me to beat someone up. It's a shitload of drama.
Yeah, that happens to me too. It's kind of refreshing though (most of the time) as I am a short guy so I'm used to people overlooking me or picking on me; now no one overlooks me or has the guts to tease me. I was quite surprised to find out which population groups took the most offense to my appearance. Generally, its the middle-aged population that gives me the really mean stares or who rush their children past me. The mid 20s beer swilling douches who failed high school also give me quite allot of trouble; none of them have the guts to do anything to my face, however. Oddly the older people are cool with me; I guess they have lived long enough for at least a few of them to figure out that character goes beyond appearance. I also discovered that I can cause babies to stop crying whenever they notice me; they just see my hair and are too interested in that to care about what ever it was they were crying about. So far this trick has a 100% success rate, lol.
"exactly"
never got much shit at school. we wore uniforms so that was a big part haha...

my fmaily dosent care at all, randomly theyll go "oh i like thous pants!" sometimes my mum offers to stitch the holes and such.

as for work, it really depends. i dont usually go to work charged cuz im too tired to deal with people afterward, but when i do a lot are usually in awe. only a few have seen my hair up though since i cant wear it up for work.

as for publicly, lots of stairs, especially when im charged up. never really cared though. only thing that pisses me off is when people randomly touch my hair. but no one has actually commented straight out about the clotuhs i wear.

oh! at school,(college now) the only time i get shit is when i a) wear my ofsaa sweater(wrestling sweater) some friends like to take the piss. and b) a few weeks ago we were going on a field trip and we had to 'dress for an interview' so i was in dress pants and a dress shirt, with my sneakers on and a sweater. some random bitch in my class told me i shouldn't go to an interview in a sweater and sneakers. i just laughed at her. (hair was down too)
It's totally fine to do an interview in sneakers. Most interviews should reflect the company that you're applying to. But if they are nice, and you have a casual, but dressy, look, it's very do-able. Just don't wear grungy shoes that are falling apart.
Sweaters are a different story - depends on the type. Haha. Like sweatervests over a button down (not a jersey knit polo) or under a blazer. If they are versatile, not a team logo, and fitted, it's fair game!

THEN! I'd tell her to fuck herself. =) Of course, after informing her of said interview clothing do's.

OP:
I don't let people give me crap.
My dad calls me ugly on a daily basis and always tells me to shave my mohawk off. And at school it's like the shit everyone else gets. But i don't care and i just tell them to fuck off. But i definetly hate random strangers thinking i get a mohawk right before an event or something. It pisses me off so much that it isn't how people would react back in 1980
That is exactly how people would act in 1980, except it would be a lot worse.
My school and family are pretty awesome, and I rarely get shit about my appearence from them. There are only a select few people at school that give me shit, and most of them don't have the balls to directly confront me anyways.

When I go out people have more mixed reactions ranging from running away and locking car doors as I pass to random people hugging me and taking pictures.
Family: avoids me or disses on me a lot.
School: at my school, they made me comb it down. fuckin dumb. took me into the bathroom and combed it down. bull shit. but i am switching schools anyway and i can wear it up there(:
