Winter and Mohawks

so being bored and a newbie mohawker what do you do for the winter with your mohawk? do you still fan it or lay it down for sleep till next summer?
lol just wondering. this winter i'm going to LA , i'm from buffalo so fuck the cold winter crap.
god i hate snow in buffalo.

i just deal with the cold. You get used to it after a day or so.

i live in so cal, so it doesnt get very cold and it doesnt rain much here.. the winter doesnt keep me from wearing it up at all

Usually it stays hidden under my hat during the winter, though I've been considering letting the sides grow out a bit longer this year (rather than shaved short) and seeing if I can go skiing without my head freezing too much. I've also considered seeing if I can make a "mohat" (or have a friend knit me one) that would keep the sides of my head warm but still let me rock a foot-long fan!

Oh god, I feel your pain about Buffalo winters (from an hour or so south of Buffalo myself). Haven't had my hawk in the winter yet, so I guess I'll see how it goes.

I hide mine with a hood - except if I'm out for a short time during the day. But it's just not worth getting frozen over for me. When the sides are shaved completely it's worse - but I find it's my ears I want to keep warm. =)
