Rules!

So far rules are pending.

Input/suggestions are very welcome! =D

1. Signatures! Names (What about where you live? and the date? limited space so everyone can get their names on? Or just don't be an asshole and draw ALL over it?)

2. No washing for the sake of other peoples names written is washable stuff?

3. Take a picture and post it on the site.

4. Time limit? If so how long? 2 weeks(minus time for shipping)?

5. We need some way of de-creeper-fying this. To make sure when we send it we won't feel internet weary of giving out our addresses to strangers. Maybe get into contact with the people that you
know will be sending/ receiving it form? This needs a lot of work. (will post another discussion for ideas)

6. I think that we should have a deadline for everyone who wants in on getting the shirt. I'm thinking about a month -2 months that way everyone has the opportunity to be on the list.

***This is just a suggestion...but I think it would be rad if when we are done passing the shirt around that we all give it to GMM as a gift. I think that he'd really like it and I know its not MY decision, but it seems like the best ending place to me.

it should be something like you name and date, and if you have a small signature you like to put everywhere(they call it a Tag here), but like you said not ALL over the shirt, keep it somewhat small.

the no washing can get kinda grosse, like first going all over the world with people throwing it on and such, isn't so bad, but when the finale person egts the finished product? they aren't going to never wash it haha? it should be something like: permanent marker ONLY, and when washing ONLY cold water. or something that wont make any marker fade/run. a type of washing rules you have to follow if you died to wash it.

the picture part is probably the best idea haha.

well we should have a list of people, and have whos sending it to who. so something like:
mohawk1
-sending to-
mohawk 2
----this way your only giving your address to one person, and it should be someone you trust, maby say who you trust with your address. i woudl trust almsot anyone on this site with my address, tbh i dont think anyone here is going to come to my house t shoot me or be able to use my address to accesses my bank account somehow lol. we are a rpetty tight community.

a deadline is good also, this way it can be out and back in a reasonable amount of time, not 4 years after it was sent out and the person getting it back is like "oh shit i forgot about this"

Fabric marker is a good idea, but I'm not sure how many people have them.

I definitely think it should be washed. If you are seriously sending it around to dozens of people across the globe it is going to get nasty very quickly. Just buy a fabric pen and send it around with the shirt. (And a warning- sharpies will wash out).

As for a deadline, once we know how many people why not just divide up the surface area of the shirt? It doesn't necessarily have to be in divided by lines or something, but just a general idea of how much area we can use up. We can also use the deadline to plan a definite mailing route so that it is at least fairly cost-effective, as well as decide a time limit. I'd say no more then 4 weeks per person, but the time it will take just to travel may be excessive.

It is probably a good idea for a person to post when they receive and send the shirt as well.

Thats some good thinking.

The to wash or not to wash is getting kinda iffy you know? It wouldnt be really fair to the people in Australia who get it first if their names get washed 10 times over...

Maybe 2 weeks per person minus shipping time? Ive already kinda of started grouping where people live to keep things a little bit better and less costly.

I agree on posting, we also want pictures!

Divinging it up sounds pretty rad actually. I'm sure the number will never really be 100% exact, but it will give a bit more of an idea what is being a hog and what is microscopic.

5. the easiest way to de-creep this is to have a list of nicknames with town and state included but no actual address , the person with the shirt looks for the closest person to them and contacts them privately by way of the MR chat room and gets the postage address details , this way the person sending the shirt only ever knows one address , if you are not keen to give your real address then give someone elses that you trust and does not mind , very simple if you want your address to stay secret .

1. Signatures are good, and little messages are ok, you can also draw pics if you want.
2. No washing under any circumstances!.
3.Take a pic and post on site.
4.Keep it for as long as needed, just update us.
5. Contact the person privately, no need for us all to know their address.
6. This is going to be annual, so everyone gets a chance.
And the shirt is getting framed in my home, i also kind of still need it for school, but yeah, GMM can send his own damn shirt!
