Lol, I'm getting too old for the wall of death.

However, I do my part to keep the smaller people who aren't participating (like my best friends girlfriend - shows are new to her and she is frail) away from the mess and take hits for them. haha.

Ive done that before, 'cept with a little kid.
It totally sucks when you get caught in it and can't get out. >.br /> Or when you fall down! That is FUCKING SCARY!

I used to get right into the middle of them (you know, when I was young haha), was knocked down once at a massive show --- FETAL POSITION and COVER YOUR HEAD!!!!!! hahah

Although, I have no doubts or fears about mosh pits at any show - if I have to fight my way out, I will. I've broken noses before, haha. Oh, and toes/feet. Don't ever...EVER wear fucking flip flops in a pit where kids are all wearing combat boots.

Oh wow. I was lucky enough to be helped up pronto when I fell down, but still...

Broken noses? Geeezz. Ive never had to be that violent, but Ive fought my way out of plenty.

Flip flops?! =O Can you say foot suicide? xD
Ive learned to ALWAYS double knot your laces too, trying to tie your shoes...that's hard.

Haha, thankfully it had never gotten to that point - but the covering your head bit is for the people that aren't sure if they'd get up. The shows can be vicious! It's a bit like playing rugby, when you're down. haha

Yeah..I've got some force in my elbows. ;-) Never that bad at local shows, but when I went to see DKM (and ironically nofx) the first times, I got myself into a bad spot in each pit. I think the nose stuff mostly happened during a madball set, though last time I saw DKM in March, I did the same thing again. haha
When I saw nofx, I literally was stuck between 7 or 8 extremely sweaty and obese men. And then mysteriously a guard rail. I think that was my worst experience, getting crushed.

And foot suicide indeed! -- I always tuck my laces in, even if I'm not wearing boots. I busted my ass one too many times cause of my own feet. haha
