Shaving the sides of my head.

So. My mother is reluctant for me to have a hawk at all. Right now, it's just an awesome faux-hawk. I want to buzz the sides of my head just so the hair is long enough that you can't see any skin. The big problem here is church. My parents want my hair to look good for church. I basically need you guys to help me out my posting pictures of your hawk down, or emailing them to me.

if you wait for it to get longer like mine you can actually part it so it just looks like an undercut or with mine it just looks like i have long hair still

just grow it out a little more and you wont even be able to see it when its down.

yea use a 3, that's what i used to use and when ur hairs down it just looks like u have short hair. u can't tell it's a mohawk.

When I had brown hair people kept on saying that.

Either have it really long or really short, if its really short it looks like a crew cut when its down, when its really long you can't even see the shaved parts.

1-3 inches. If you comb it to the side it looks very "normal" that is if its a natural color.

My hair is black and green and I go to a BAPTIST (aka, crazy old people) church every Sunday.

Just leave it down and dress nice and they'll leave you alone.

So... this photo of my boyfriend might help. His hair was 3-4 inches long at this point, and we cut his hair down to like a 3 or 4 sized guard.

It's really cute, just don't laugh or tell him i uploaded it ;-)
