i remember my dad had bought the movie YEARS ago, i must of been ten. and i told him i wanted to watch it. he said "ill only let you watch it if you read the book first" so i looked at the back and was like "gimme the book" finished it in like a week or 2, best book iv ever read. watched the movie the day i finished the book, loved it. it stayed true to the book on so many levels.

i dont remember too great so im going to give it another watch soon.
I like donnie darko, rocky horror picture show, fear and loathing in las vegas

a clock work orange is my favourite movie as well though:D
When I finally got to see clockwork orange a few years ago on TV after they lifted the ban on showing it. I thought it was a highly moral upstanding tale - not like folk claimed it to be. I rather liked it 'cause it wasn't just gratuitous violence for violence sake like modern movies can be.

Not that that can't be entertaining if done right...just is often done in too cheesy a way in horror films.
Studio Ghibli is amazing.

Miyazaki has the most original tales.

I am personally a fan of Princess Mononoke. Yourself, sir?
Ahahahah! Nerds with mohawks! This is killing me...

I love Howl's Moving Castle. My second fave.

I'd recommend Wolf's Rain. Ahhhh-mazing. Truly beautiful artwork and the storyline blows you away.

That's the reason Miyazaki's film are always great, btw. They are all still hand drawn with meticulous detail.

We should start a "Nerds with Mohawks" group.
This is just quite ridiculous.
For real? Ahaha.

I had glasses but they looked awful!

Take a dose of that and tell me how it turns out, eh?
If you like Miyazaki I suggest Ghost in the Shell and Sky Crawlers. Epic, and as far as I know damned original. Akira is decent, as well. It too runs in the vein of Japanese anime.
