removing color....

ok. how do u remove semi-permanent dye without bleach? last summer i tried bleaching out my blue, and it turned my hair to elastic, and the dye didn't budge. i've used every color remover and shampoo i can find - and i can't get the blue out! i've spent 3 months washing my hair everyday with shampoo and the color didn't even come out! i've had after midnight blue for over a year - and it's driving me insane!!! :(

dye over it?
ive had this problem before
i had a red fringe, and i had to bleach over it
but it made the colour permanant coz the bleach mixed with the colour.
i just dyed over it with a different colour

mix detergent with bi-carb soda.
it strips colour without damaging hair like bleach does.
tho it doesn't work for everyone but its worth a try.
helped me get the blue out of my hair...

CVS and Walgreens sell a hair dye stripper shit in the section with the hair stuff. It about $12 but it works and is good hair. I used it when I dyed my hair black for Halloween and didnt like it a few weeks later. It smells like shampoo. Very good and my hair was really soft for a few days after, too. Try that before mixing some home wierd shit together and dumpin it on your head or wasting dye. haha

It worked good for me. It was kinda like a hot oil treatment(afterwards) cause of the soft,fluffyness. Lasted a while too.

I haven't much had this problem(just a little), usually a "clarifyling" shampoo and no conditioner works for me. Good enough for me to be able to dye over it anyway. Ive heard this stuff called the Eraser by Joico ICE works really well. It was made for removing Spiker (I have to wash my hair 3 times to get the stuff out) and color. Ive heard positive feedback from that.
