i liked the movies, i thought they were entertaining.
a shit load of stuff was off from the actual comics and characters but they were fun,
as long as you didn't expect them to be true to the story.
I felt they actually missed alot of the characters personalities. Specifically in the Brotherhood. Toad was way too cool to be Toad. Surprisingly they got all the young x-men's characters right. (young as in the movie) Colossus was still that caring big softy, angel did have several issues on being a mutant.
My biggest problem was how the stopped Magneto at the end of X-3. Really what they do to him goes against everything they stand for. They are trying to preserve mutants and bring unity between humans and mutants. Generally I feel that X-3 was just poorly written.
Also all three movies threw in evil mutants but didn't explain anything about them. Such as Lady Deathstrike's claws weren't explained. I still go into all comic book movies expecting them to be written in differently from their comic counter-parts.
But I digress, we should open another discussion about comic movies. we kinda got off track.
a journalist in the comic transmetropolitan who is very sexy, main weapons consist of ' boots, fists, crowbar, and a gun that can give you anything from a small fart to literally explosive diarrhea', and his cat is two headed and a chainsmoker
I both like and dislike the Green Arrow. He's kind of a dick, but the fact that he is that confident makes him cool. And he's one of the few superheroes that isn't afraid to get in Superman's or Batman's face. I loved him in 52. And I loved the story that Kevin Smith did with him.
lol it's funny how no one really wants to stand up to batman. all these super powered people are afraid of him. i love batsy but a lot of them could take him out rather easily. that's part of what makes him so cool.
Thats because he's creepy and he can theoretically beat any superhero if he has time to prepare. He's taken down Superman in Dark Knight Returns. Though Superman almost killed him in Superman Sacrifice... But then Batman did make a super smart satellite that almost killed all the superheroes in the world. Anyway my point is there is a reason why Batman is part of the Trinity.
he's just over all awesome lol. I'd be afraid of him even if i had super powers. but it's funny because a lot of super humans are so cocky and full of themselves and they think they can beat anyone (well the younger heros) but batman still has this overwhelming presence and power among all of them. i'm sure everything you listed has a lot to do with it. lol
i've rewritten my list.
coming in at number one is:
1.Batman, the reigning champion lol
2.in second place are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. sorry Logan (would they take up numbers 2,3,4 and 5?) of them my favorite is still Raphael, then Michelangelo, Donatello and last but not least Leo. i don't dislike the guy anymore. i'm over it, it's weird.
3.Wolverine, still one hell of an awesome dude
4.Gambit, i love the Cajun.
5.when i have a number 5 I'll let you know.
