Mohawks Rock

I dont want to be the stereotypical "i want to but i'm unsure" indescisive person on here, unsure of whether or not they want a mohawk
truth is
i want one more then kirsty alley wants another slice of chocolate cake

im just not sure if it would be a good decision for me, so i wanted some input from somebody who knows what theyre talking about

my hair currently is no quite shoulder length with alot of layers in the top (think no-quite scene mullet) and i occasionally style it into a bitchin' fauxhawk (forgive the phrase)
but my biggest problem is i want more of a teased mohawk or death hawk but i have unfortunately extremely thin hair :(
think this is still possible?
and if its even possible, if theres a way i would wear it down without completely offending the more conservative types that im forced into contact with LOL

help????

i have seen girls with sweet death hawks and loved it!!! if i could choose any hairstyle for my missies, it would be a death hawk, plus for a girl you can play about with it alot, style it in many different ways.... due to my last job i too had a fauxhawk all thanks to closed minded conservative slaves i worked for, but after an accident last year i though fuck it, they may be conservative but im not........ so dont worry about offending other people as long as you love it dont think about anyone else!..

basically get a death hawk, you will look stunning!!!!
do it up!

honestly, i wanted one for soooo long, but i was always concerned about "will it look bad when it's down?" "what will ______ think of it?" you know? and then i was like... well, who cares. i want a mohawk. so i got one =]

i have really thin hair too, and don't worry, it works for me. so i'm sure it will work for you too.

and of course you can wear it down without offending the conservative types lol. what i do..... i fold a bandana so its just like.. a thin strip (like a head band) and i tie it around my head. i pull my bangs and sideburns and any hair i dont put up out the front of the bandana, and then the rest just hangs behind the banada. actually, doing this covers almost all of the shaved part of my head, so a lot of people still don't know i have a mohawk (for example, my grandparents). also, my mom (who haaates my mohawk) said it looked cute. sooo... i gotta say it works.

hope that helps =]
Thanks :)
im sure i'll rock it out and LOVE it once i get it cut
its just taking the plundge thats the hard part
Check through the forums and previous topics first, and you also don't have to stick to the same style, you can tease it, death hawk it, fan or spike it however you want.:)
