ok so i tried to spike my hair today and this is the first time that i have had a hawk but anyways i need to know a easy way to do it my hair is about 6 inches or longer and i use got 2b spray
Ah man, I know how you feel! Not too long ago I was trying to figure it out myself, but once you get it it's relatively simple and after you the routine down it'll take no time at all.
First of all, a hairdryer is pretty much a must. The heat will harden pretty much instantly. Starting out, try and get a friend or someone to help you out, especially with the back, and after a while you'll get the jist of it and be able to get it up (*snicker* :D) on your own.
Pretty much, spray some of the got2b stuff in your hair and and kinda comb it in and up while you're using the blow dryer. do that all the way to the back and it should be about it, maybe some messing around with it to get an even fan.
And if you're going for liberty spikes there's a great video featured on the front page for it, very educational.
If you have any other questions this community will always be more than happy to oblige.

Remember the base, lots of spray on the base! Can kinda use the same technique for fans as the guy uses for his liberty spikes (work on the base, then sort the tips). Otherwise like hangman said, spray, comb and hold, hair dryer!
Oh and for fans, i find atleast, do the middle of your head 1st, then the front/top and back, helps me atleast to stop it getting too gappy.
yea, lots of spray at the base and rub it over the spike while drying with a hairdryer. i use got2bd glue and spray. works everytime perfect. there is a guy on here and on youtube that has an awesome video of how to spike hair. cant think of his name, but he has blue spikes. good luck and have fun
Dude. The best I've found is bar soap soaked overnight in water. Then clear Elmer's glue. The soap fuckin rocks! The glue is for the hardness and water resistance.
