Dude, no way.
You need to play with your hair. Trust me, I've got curly hair. Dry it straight. Straighten it before you do it. Whatever. Relax it if your hair is kinky. I can do it with out those methods... Try drying your hair completely before putting it up if you don't already.

I use hair spray, out where i live, hair spray is a hell of a lot cheaper than got2b products (glue, spray, etc). And even if i don't dry my hair so it's managable, and let it dry naturally, I can still put it up well. But there is more to life than glue freezing spray. Be adventurous, try new products. You actually might find something else to swear by (i did!).
