I love mohawks. I had one before, but I shaved my head for cancer and my niece`s alpecia. I don;t have my mohawk right now, but I have kept the sides shaved and the back shaved. I spike it up every so often. I'm a hairdresser and if you have any questions about hair color or cutting, ask away. :)
Yeppers......they are longer now....I usually run a mini hair straightener thru them each morning so they don't stick out to the sides. Glad you are cutting hair and especially giving new people Hawks! Here is Saskatchewan there are no Hawks hardly at all......we need more people like you! :-)
Hey Julie.....I have a question for ya about my Earlocks....here is a copy of my Discussion I posted.....can you help me out??
So my Earlocks are about 5 inches long, and the one on my left is okay, it lies straight down along the side of my face, but the right one always wants to curl outwards from my face. I have tried using gels, hairspray, lotion, water, freezing spray, and nothing works.....it might lay flat for a few mins, then will want to curl outwards from my face again. It is starting to drive me crazy. Has anyone out there experienced this and how did you correct it??
Hey Julie.....was just wondering, since you are actually taking hairdressing.....how do the Instructors teach you to cut and style a full fan mohawk? What products do they actually tell you to use and method(s)??

Same to you Julie.....wear your Hawk proudly and enjoy your Xmas 2012! :-)
Morning Julie and Merry Xmas! I never knew you were a hairdresser? Red Seal?? This is awesome......I love to hear from actual hairdressers.....they have one of the coolest jobs ever I think...if I was to do my life over, I would go to cosmetology school. When I get my Hawk trimmed, I just enjoy watching my hairdresser do her work, not only with me, but all her patrons....everyone wants something different and are expecting you to give them a style that will make them walk out of there feeling confident and proud. :-)
