Upper Crust

The upper crust is the giant face of "punk", the media face of punk. It is bullshit, it is not real "punk". Punk today has become a fashion, and that's it. Most "punk" kids just dress the part and act arrogant towards everything in an attempt to be rebellious. Once again, it's bullshit. You cannot describe punk in one way, because it takes many many forms. It can take the form of theory, but you cant categorize one theory to it. Even calling "punk" punk is bullshit, cause it's no t punk. The entire thing is beyond a movement or a culture because it has become a self-parody. It imitates itself, people get Mohawks because its "punk".

I suppose what I'm trying to get around to is that the point is not trying to be something but expressing yourself through various mediums and fighting for what you believe in despite of whats "punk" and not "punk. At least hat's just what I think. :)

RIGHT ON! That's exactly what life should be like. Do what feels right and makes you happy, don't do it because you think it'll make into something.

And anyone who calls people posers for dressing like other people in the "punk scene" is retarded, people who listen to punk obviously have things in common, so they like the same clothes as other people, dont be a fucking snob and look down on people for their commonalities.
