So, just ran across something about taking the swastika back to it's peaceful origin to spite the idiots who use it for a symbol of hatred and death. And while I think this sounds all nice and pretty, I kinda find it idiotic. I think it has been irrevocably made into a symbol of fear and hate. When you see one what immediately comes to mind, okay beside a fucking hot shirtless, misguided Edward Norton, but I digress... Does your mind go to some vague ancient symbol of life, sun, power, strength, or good luck? Yeah, thought not, but lets go ask some holocaust survivors their opinion.

That being said I wish people wouldn't respond to ANY symbol with abject horror and hatred, but that ain't gonna happen.

Language and symbols evolve, so I understand the hope that the swastika can be brought back from "the dark side." I mean South Park has already taught me the new meaning of faggot, now if only those silly homos would get the memo (read sarcasm here in case your stupid I'll point it out).

Anywho, that's my bitchin 2 cents of the day. Peace.

Yeah I know what you mean about the spider web... you'd think people would research stuff before they get it tattooed on them.

It's kinda like my brother who got a rebel flag tattooed on his back. He didn't do it from a hateful or racist place. To him it stands for southern pride and being a country boy, but I told him he's going to constantly be proving that he's not some dumb racists. Just because his intentions aren't bad doesn't mean people won't see it as a symbol of hate.

Meh, I'm feeling to crappy to write intelligently.
