No Hawk This Time

Well my yearly tradition has been thrown off yet again. for the second year in a row i won't be rockin my hawk. i like to keep it shaved with no guard or completely bic'd during the summer then i grow it out all winter. once it warms up i hawk it and rock it till the beginning/middle of summer. not this year tho. not last year either. last year i had to be in my cousins wedding (best man) and i wasn't even going 2 try to have a hawk. not that it wasn't considered, but his wife wouldn't have taken it too well. then this year rolled around and i had a shaggy mess that would have been amazing once trimmed up. i was already getting the itch to cut it when i heard about this charity organization called St. Baldrick's. u collect donations from friends and family and get your head shaved. the money raised goes to support research for pediatric cancer. i couldn't say no, so i signed up and raised some money and got my head shaved. i somehow raised over $600 (the average per participant was about $250) and it was for a good cause, so i can't be too disappointed. i still wish i had my hawk tho. it's been too long. oh well. better luck next year, right?
