Mohawks Rock

Hi everyone,

I currently live in Northern Japan; Yamagata city to be exact.  It's about 45 miles from the areas that were the most affected by the quake.  There has been massive flooding due to several Tsunamis hitting the eastern coast.  I am able to post via my iphone which currently has a signal, but may not soon.  The signal has been spotty at best.  We have power for now, but it's the first time we had since the quake happened, and it may cut out soon.  Luckily, my family and friends here in Yamagata are safe.  We are a bit worried about the nuclear power plant in Fukushima that has been ruptured, and is only 80 miles away.  On the plus side of things, we have beer, shochu (Japanese rice vodka) and most importantly, each other.

Keep us, and the Japanese people and expats living here in your thoughts.

Thanks.
