Mohawks Rock

Here's a song i wrote a while back, i love thoughts and opinions...

V1 I remember the days we whiled away
With love in your eyes and a smile on my face
But as day turns to night and blue skies to gray
Your name and your memory still remain

You remember the day we went seperate ways
You had your arena and i had my own
I went to my den and poured up some gin
And I wrote these words to ease the pain

CH I raise my glass high and drink this fine wine
And anything else in arms reach
I'm trying to find some nice words that rhyme
That say just what i mean
So kiss him again, I've seen better men
But now he sure as hell isn't me

V2 So I walked to the pub the owner said "Son,
you got your worries and i got my own,
But as day turns to night and blue skies to gray
Her name and her memory still remain

Check your heart at the door, find someother whore
Then go out and see if you still feel the same"
As he poured me a pint he said, "its good for the mind"
But my poor heart just kept screaming out your name

CH again

V3 I stumble back home poor, broke, and alone
And i'm damned to do it over again
But as day turns to night and blue skies to gray
Your name and your memory still remain

You're the thief of my heart and you played out your part
To make sure that things stay the same
You're my love and my queen but only in my dreams
And a ghost and a curse in the day

CH again
