Motorcycle tests and the inability to memorise the Highway code

ok is there anyone in the UK out there who has any tips on what you need to know from the Highway code for a CBT/Motorbike license , because i've tried learning it and it falls outta my brain faster than a boy band song ...which is pretty bad as I have more chance remembering a WestLife tune than passing my bike test ...whoa is me :(

Get a pushbike and ride around town taking notes on what road markings and signs look like then look back through your HWC book. Also look out for idiocy from motorists and see if any of that gets a mention. You should see how I prepared for my bike test - I disabled the rear brake on my pushbike, slung the cable over my shoulder with a 5lb weight on the far end and rode around the park practising my clutch control!

Don't know much about bike tests, much less in the UK, but you might try joining the biker group on here, as I'm sure they'll have a lot more information.

It's not that much different from the regular driver's test in Michigan. Same rules of the road apply. Michigan does require an 'on the bike' road test.... Braking and maneuvering are emphasized with the on the bike test.
