Over a month now and definitely showing much more improvement in the eyes of the artists at the shop. I'll have to throw some of my portfolio up so you all can see. It's rather cool to me, so maybe you'll all feel the same way. Anywho! Let's talk about the shop and the multitude of hawks that have been appearing since I've been there! I've counted three people that have had a regular trim cut kinda shaggy and a little short that have been getting some work done every now and then. They've all commented about how long my hawk was and the pure skill of using hairspray to keep it up. I always tell them, the back is the most painful part to get up. So fucking frustrating sometimes.. But about two weeks back they came in and all three had gotten a hawk done. They told me it was the most outrageous experience they even indulged in. I got a good laugh when I heard their stories of expressions against each other and just enjoyed the moments I got out of it. So it's spreading. I'm taking the hawk back in my area. In a place I love to be in.
Speaking of, there have been some fun antics going on in the shop. Thursday we got a video of one of the artist, Glenn 2K, who was in the drawing room passed the fuck out and bobbing his head back and forth to almost a straight 90 degree angle! We got that shit on video and it's now being aired on MySpace. Ask for the url and I'll send you a message. Totally a good week at the shop. I'm learning a lot of stuff that makes me appreciate the business a lot more. It's what I wanna do with my life, so heres hoping it will last for a long time.
