You know how sometimes someone will say something to you, and you give them a really stupid reply, only to think of something totally hilarious hours after?

Today, I am inspired by an artist by the name of Chuck Close, who I first saw when he was interviewed on The Colbert Report.

His style reminds me of those tile projects with which high school art teachers love to burden their students. Fortunately, I have been able to escape such an undertaking. The other day I found a back room with dead things in jars. We all know these places exist. but! to be there in person, and witness these animals bathed in 55% ethanol, to say the least, it was really cool!

I was so tempted to take one and proudly display it on my bedroom shelf, but it's not exactly taking hot sauce from a restaurant. I resisted and stole some photos instead :) …
