Well, shaving with a razor won't make your hair grow slower, or noticeably slower.  To keep your hair growing at a decent speed, the best thing to do other than getting plenty of vitamin E is to get your hair trimmed, the split ends or whatever removed - those are what really slows hair growth.

Ha ha, yeah I shave my head with a razor.  Typically, that's what I do, I like it better that way on me.  It might be different if like, I just shaved it close with clippers and dyed my hawk a different colour, or if I had dark hair and shaved designs into the short part but, my hair looks blonde when it's that close so you can't even really tell what's supposed to be in it.
