get my hair wet, add mousse. 
blow dry my hair upside down
tease the fuck out of it
then i smooth it out with my fingers and add hairspray (or vice versa)

I'm still getting the hang of it. but yeah, before my hawk was fluffy it always pissed me off how people with fluffy hawks wouldn't share their secrets about the styling so feel free to ask me anything. :]
