Dan, I just put a really small amount of gel in my hair before I used the blow dryer. It helps me style mine. Anyway no not really forceful I just went from back to front in small sections while using a bit of spray at the roots and went back and backcombed it all over again several times.

I have watched some youtube videos onit, but for some reason, my hair doesn't seem to backcomb like the videos....do you have to be really forceful when backcombing??

Thanks lol I think I need practice and it would look better all one length ugh so impatient, not gonna cut my bangs. I trimmed a lil more than half an inch. Dan maybe it you watched a couple tutorials on backcombing it would help you out :)

It looks pretty good though.......I find Deathhawks really hard to do. I just can't get the backcombing thing right! :-(
