To each their own :) I like the retainer because my nose is small and it's easy for me to flip it up for work.

Awesome! I didn't use a retainer, i put in a circular barbell right from day one. Wait until you sneeze for the first time :P

Awwww.....when I did mine, I put in the retainer flipped up right from the start...but you will be fine! My septum was a lot less enduring than my tongue though.....man, that swollen tongue for 8 days sucked! So what's getting pierced next for ya??

Thanks Dan! It's a little too painful right now to flip up. But my boss isn't here for a week. So I'm good for a week. It'll hurt less when she comes back.

Hey Milly.......awesome! And the nice part is you can flip your retainer back inside when you are at work! No one at my workplace has ever saw mine yet. All you need is the Hawk back........you rock it girl!!! :-)
