I'm totally new in this scene. I already thought for a longtime that wearing a real Mohawk is fucking hot and makes a real macho man out of a guy. It's the most cool, sexy and masculine haircut I know. So, although it took some time to reach that decision, today finally I had the guts to submit myself to the clippers to get mohawked! It as such already has been a long-lasting desire of me - but! But as I've always had a 'normal' haircut, of course I am haunted by this one big question, which a lot of other guys that want to wear a Mohawk will ask themselves: What will the people who already know me for such a long time think if I suddenly turn up mohawked?

Being an academician, neither in my professional environment at the University, nor in my personal inner circle I know anybody who went through the operation yet. Thus I was at the same time longing for AND dreading the decisive day that I would join the fraternity and would have to offer my head to the hairdresser for the initiationrite: the sudden complete transformation of my looks, waiting for the unforgettable experiene of being scalped. Thus I looked forward to AND schrunk from the memorable moment that that electric clipping-machine would start to run relentlessly at position zero all over both the sides of my head up to the crow, leaving just the narrow central bristly tuft of my new Mohawk protruding from my otherwise egg bald head.

But tomorrow finally the great moment was there: I got mohawked!
