So tell me what Brazil bands are your favorites? I'd like to go there if it's ever possible. I once went to Texas to meet Max Cavalera (Seputlura, Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly...) He's from Brazil! Do you like those bands at all?
My hometown? sludge is the scene. Sludge = Seattle grunge (like the Melvins), spliced with classic doom metal (like Sabbath), and sometimes also spliced with what's referred to as "stoner" rock. Sludge metal was started in south Louisiana. Notable bands include: Acid Bath, Crowbar, EyeHateGod, Goatwhore, Soilent Green, Down, Graveyard Rodeo, Superjoint Ritual, Black Market Halos, Southern Whiskey Rebellion, Factor 8, slowtheknife, Minstrel Gravy, Christ Inversion, Outlaw Order, Arson Anthem....
