I'm not a punk.
But I really admire the style and what a lot of punks stand for.
I love the idea of revolution, change, individuality, and freedom (of course)
I'm involved in quite a few things. I like art and I sew most of my own clothes.
I suck balls at hair and makeup.
and that's about it.
talk to me if you wish cuz I'm pretty damn friendly!
I had to move back in with my parents last summer due to having a really god awful roommate. From then on Ive just been living at home, I work at a petstore and pick up theatre or film jobs whenever i can.
I worked on a low budget film last fall and I'll be going to upstate new york this summer for an internship. Hopefully this will help me get my feet off the ground, cause living at home sucks haha.
The internship is a wardrobe position at a theatre company. I'll be helping actors get in and out of costumes while also doing repairs and maintenance (aka laundry). Its not terribly exciting but I'll take whatever I can get. :D
The movie had its premiere this weekend at a film festival so i finally got to see the finished product. It had its cheesy parts here and there but overall i enjoyed it and it exceeded my expectations.
My roommate was awful. She was just kind of a slob and got drunk a lot. Always mooched off of my cooking, never did dishes, had friends over to drink and they'd break my shit. She got sick a lot and would just leave her nasty snot tissues all over the living room along with whatever bra she wore that day. She also liked to sleep with 5 heavy blankets and keep the A/C running full blast in the middle of summer. Summer's are really hot in Texas so our electricity bill was over $200/mo and she didn't care cause her parents paid for her half of the bills. Anyway, i pretty much said fuck this when she woke me up one morning because she accidentally took meth one night and thought it was cocaine and was totally losing her shit and thought she was dying.
The roommate i had before her was a alcoholic with a pill problem who struggled to pay bills… so clearly no one my age has their shit together. Figured I'd just move back home till I could afford to live roommate-free.
I guess you get to look forward to random roommates in college!!! No worries though, its pretty hard to get roommates as terrible as that. I think i just have really bad luck.
Hey Boogle.....sorry to hear about your loser roommate......but glad you have the sense to get out of that nowhere situation. There's nothing wrong with living at home. At least you are working and actually contributing to Society. Proud of ya! :-)
