Welcome to Mohawks Rock Ken. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the mohawk and figuring out what exactly a confederate reenactor punk is.
  • Giant Mohawk Man

oh ha ha ha. ok I know what you are talking about now. I see you added a period to your "about me". Amazing what a period can do to a sentence.
  • Giant Mohawk Man

I keep mine the width of temple to temple, not sure how far that is, but I've had it spiked up to 19inches. I don't think you'll have any problem with 6 inches. Got2BeGlued and hairspray should work best, but check Sonic Architects video below on the front page.

A//Political....one of my favs for sure
  • Sonic Architect

I bought it though if I had a screen press to make shit like that I would make all my shit.

Sadly...I am too poor to even consider getting something like that going and I don't know anybody personally that does that stuff.
  • Bob

Interesting profile. I like interesting profiles... makes me think.
  • Brittany

    you drooling on me...?
  • Sonic Architect

I do make patches as well but due to my lack of artistic ability they are just simple. I made a logo symbol for my own project, a Resist Corporate Control patch, a Born/Dead patch, the Aus-Rotten patch on the back of my vest, and also the Fight The Rich Not Their Wars patch on my back.

The most intricate one I made was a circle A but it is more complex than just the regular anarchy logo. It is a bit like the Aus-Rotten logo they would have on their albums but not the same though it was the inspiration for it =p

Thanks for the suggestion. I can absolutely do that. Did something similar in the Mr. T fan group asking folks what was their favorite character he did. Advantage/Disadvantage was I used a 3rd party which meants more than just MohawkRockers could vote. I'll also look into how anyone can create their own custom poll, since I want as much in the hands of everyone here as possible. No reason there can't be a way for you to create a poll. Thanks for the suggestion, and keep them coming. I'll let you know what I find.
  • Jim

Thanx man, those where the good ol' days.
  • Sonic Architect

For the patch I used fabric paint

I never got into drugs at all which is a good thing because my family has a strong habit of addiction. both parents were alcoholics, my brother was a sex addict and that led him to some really shady and nasty shit. Though I never got into drugs or alcohol, I ended up getting addicted to other forms of self destructions...mainly hacking away at my own body for over 12 years. Mental illness also runs in my family and that combined with a history of plenty of abuse across the board physically, emotionally and sexually, I ended up developing borderline personality disorder and schizo affective disorder. Though I was not officially diagnosed until about 2002 or 03, it started setting in during my teens.

Now, 12 years and over a thousand scars later with the help of a great and supportive relationship, I am beating it now and don't want to continue down that path any longer.

As for squatting, it is something I am very interested in and do hope to do in the not so distant future. I live in a small college town right now and might end up being here for a couple of more years if my girlfriend gets accepted at school. If not, I am going to move closer to Buffalo and try to get some connections there. There is...or was a squat called the Birdhouse there but I heard they got evicted though I cant confirm that.

The whole mental illness thing really set me back a few years. At one point I was really agoraphobic as well and would barely leave my own house, let alone travel to the city. And when it wasn't that, I was so drugged out from their meds that I literally could not function. I would sleep in 36-40 hour intervals get up for a few hours and go back to sleep. I could barely communicate back then because my head would be so clouded...in short....it really fucking sucked.

but its clearing up now and I am getting really into radical subversion. I dumpster dive everything I can and hope to be travelling and such much more soon.

wow...i got off on a tangent. Sorry about that.

If your into squatting though and haven't already, get the book Off the Map that was published by crimethinc It is the letters and journals of two girls from Olympia who hitch and squat across Europe. Really good read. It will cost you 2 dollars from their site and they send you loads of free shit with paid orders.

I employ a lot of traits of freeganism I just try not to put an absolute label of any kind on things I do. I most certainly am quite anti-consumerism and try to buy as little as possible. It is a bit tough here because there are not too many stores and the ones that would be very good have cameras all over and that combined with the police here being bored out of their skulls is a recipe for a not so fun time. The only good dumpster for food is a chain called Aldi. No cameras and the dumpster is nice and remote though now there is a dunkin donuts right next door so have to be careful.

My history and such, I have a really firm grasp on it so it is quite easy to talk about it. Especially to people who have similar or somewhat similar things going on or can relate somehow. Yes I used to cut a lot at times. It almost led me to death on more than one occasion and at the time I didn't give a shit because I didn't have anything really support wise.

The lighter thing I can relate to a bit. Burning sensations are something that I can't take good but when I was younger I would hang downtown and to fuck with the kids in my school who constantly gave me shit I would be hacking my arm open with knives and shit. It helped to eliminate some of their bullshit but not all. I never thought of charging money for that =)

Maryland...I have not been that way since I was about 13 and we were not directly there I don't believe. We took a vacation to Williamsburg VA and drove through DC. That is the closest I have come to there. Hopefully one of these years I will somehow be able to tour with my project or get a band going here and do it. If I ever get don that way I will let you know for sure
  • Jim

I had alot more fun in those days than I do now, but In those days, I started committing crimes cuz I ain't into pan handling, and now I have five felonies and 4 prison sentences under my belt and can't find a fucking job to save my fucking life and am seriously considering driving my car into a wall at 110 miles an hour. So, how was your day Ken?
  • Jim

Aw man, I was just fucking around, I would never kill myself. I just don't care if I live or die.And i am already involved in all that shit for school, it isn't as easy as it sounds.Anyways i will not be so negative. Later.
  • Jim

  • Giant Mohawk Man

So far, I was able to add a poll onto my personal page, by setting up my own poll at Toluna.com, and then including it into the box above Chuck Norris. That was the site I used to set up a poll on the Mr. T fan group. There is probably a better flash-based polling site out there, however, you could still use Toluna.com and then set up a group based on the question. I'll keep looking for ways, in the meantime you can vote in my poll. We'll see how much traction it gets there.
  • lil Lauren
