hows it going?

very! its starting to become almost "tolerable" here, it was almost 50F today. i miss the heat and humidity!

winter up here sucks.

I'm just tourturing myself  so I make sure I remember every single thing before I take my final in bartending.

good job.. what type of car do you have?

weeell, I have to memorized the basic 220(or so) drinks, classification of alcohol, and other small side information. the final is strict, let say if I make a drink that calls for a cherry and I forget the cherry, I'll fail. I memorized 99.9% of everything but I got beat up for no reason 6 months ago, some how I got a fractured tibia  and finger. I haven't been able to take my final since then  and during my healing time I wasn't going over stuff up so I forgot. Now I'm going to go in on monday and see what happens.

ahh smart move, smart move. how is  the gas mileage? I have a 1950 chrysler windsor and its all original. sadly, I have to sell it.

bartending isnt really that hard, its just memorizing stuff thats hard. haha no kidding,  i didnt know there were so many drinks eitehr when I 1st started but there are hundreds more

hahaha "beer and...not beer" i like that. well i haven bartended yet but from observing what the bartenders make and hearing peoples requests  while im hanging out at the bar at goth/deathrock clubs and the bars downtown here, i would say yes, many people do order different drinks. one drink that i find absolutely disgusting is an "adios mother fucker" yet i see so many people drink that stuff. after two of those youll be pretty drunk,well in most cases.

hmmm as for the strongest drink i would probably say an everclear martini? that just two drops of dry vermouth and 3oz of everclear, which ranges from 151-190 proof. although it is illegal in most states. since thats probably a hard drink to find at a bar .. a gorilla fat/gorilla fart(same drink different names) i would say is one the strongest. its a shot though, made from 2 oz of wild turkey 101 and 2oz of barcardi 151. the "ice tea" drinks are pretty strong cocktails, the "adios" is part of those mixtures. other then those drinks im drawing a blank.

that "instructables" site is awesome. it inspires me but then a few minutes later im discouraged since i dont have much materials to work with or some are just hard to find

indeed I did take my final and I passsed. I  took it about two weeks ago. now I just have to make a rough copy of my resume and they're going to help me fancying it up next week. they're going to help me find places that are hiring. hopefully I'll find something sometime in May

and they played this past march 23. i think they were doing a small tour, but i'm pretty sure it ended early because nico de gallo left the band.  it was an awesome show.
