How Tall Are You With and Without the Mohawk:
With my Mohawk I'm 6' 4" and Without my Mohawk I'm 5' 11"
How did you find MohawksRock.com
Right now my Hawk is cut until my hair grows to 7 inches then it's back in business
yeah for sure, the thicker the better in my opinion if you dont like it or dont need it you can always thin it out. but if you cut it too thin its not so easy to grow the width back..
my hawk is currently about 6 inches but im going much longer which is why its so wide. an inch and a half to two inches should be plenty good for your hawk :]
Ha Ha, that story is hilarious. You need to put it into a blog so people can read it and comment on it. Do you have any pictures of the so-called Pina Colada Punks
heh.. see the thing is, someone in the family with a hawk can seriously help change the views of the negative people in the family. my dad didnt want me to get a hawk, he told me he would kick me out and blah blah blah. but he didnt, he didnt talk to me for three days and it took him a month or two to get over it but now he likes it and he even shaves my head for me and buys me hair dye sometimes. and because of all that hes alot more open minded twords other people who want to look the way they wanna look :]
baisically it might be hell for awhile but in the long run it can turn out to be a really good thing.. and hell, mines a self esteem boost for me! haha thats always a plus :P
hell yeah dude we could go "camping" again and roam the streets all night long.we could go through a few neighborehoods again....and try not to wake them up this time like we did last time...we must be sneaky and stealthy...muahahahaha

my mohawk was about two and a half inches wide, a pretty good witdh to start with. now it's a little under two inches, I really need to get it wider but it takes for ever just to grow out the rest of my hair and do it all over again, so I'm just going to see how it goes with my mohawk skinny like it is now.
I have always got my spikes from www.studsandspikes.com They have been the cheapest thus far and provide good and fast service in my experience. Just about any type of spike or stud you would want. Check out discount bulk section for a bag of 100 tree spikes for like 20 dollars =) They also have belts and other stuff including patches.
For patches, I got some at www.crustpunks.com They deal mostly in crust stuff etc and also have shirts and also bullet belts and studs/spikes but not as cheap as the previous site.
Another place I got some patches and shirts was from www.punkstuff.com Again, a lot of crusty stuff and also horror too. They do their own screen printing and do shirts of all types, patches, back patches etc. Good quality stuff in my experience. Got a Born/Dead shirt, A//Political back patch, my Aus-Rotten shirt from them and all are still going strong.
I have been getting patches that are not band related from the microcosm publisher/distro to use for myself and also in my own distro to do at shows etc. I just got a lovely dumpster diver patch and a patch with a guy smashing a TV with a bat =) Check them out if your into that kind of stuff. Microcosm
Other general distros for everything from cds, videos, shirts, patches etc etc include Angry, Young, and Poor and Interpunk.com both of which have a lot of stuff. I have only ever ordered from interpunk but the service was really good and speedy.
If your into finding hardcore/crust based stuff music wise check out the Rise of Crust/Profane Existence distro. Really cheap prices and good shipping options and service. Order from there regularly and Dan is super cool.
Hopefully that gives you some good starting points =) There are countless smaller distros if you search around but those are some of the more well known ones I have dealt with and had excellent service.
shit dude I am sorry to hear about your step mom =( That is very shitty. I wish nothing but a good recovery and outcome.
I certainly advocate spending as little money as possible even when NOT in such circumstances so right on. I belief in gift economy and try work on those principles whenever possible though obviously we are still viciously confined by capitalism and to stay afloat doing anything at this time on a bigger scale you need income sadly. If your trying to do a distro or infoshop or anything like that, barter and gift economy dont pay for postage, gas money if on tour, etc.
That is cool that you help your mom in stores =) I think a lot of people involved with punk rock or anything like that, fail to realize how good that can be towards breaking down general ignorance towards subcultures. When people see somebody who is dressed in much different ways being very human and NOT the inhuman monsters we are often labeled as, it goes a long way in the end I think.
Dumpstering for sure is a very valuable pass time =) Not just for sustaining ones self but can also be a focus and help for building a radical community project such as Food Not Bombs or the Really Really Free Market. It is also a bit spiritually rewarding to get back to a hunter/gatherer type of life...even if it is urban and at the expense of human greed and materialism.

If my hair was cut thinner and trimmed a few inches atleast I don't think it would be a problem. I would still need help of course.
