I'm the lurking poser next door - No really, I love mohawks but I don't have the balls to get one - yet. For now I'm rocking my own custommade synth dreads <3
well to define me, no one can define themselves, but ill try
i define myself my music, freinds, and goodtimes, thats all i need to survive.
but in dong ok im in a college class right now(graphic design) wishing i could be somewhere else though..hehe
Well, I'm at work right now (shhh... dont tell anyone) Also wondering how to do my hawk for tomorrow. Whether to spike, fan or cornrow it. Not sure which to do.
I haven't really started massaging, yet. But I'm trying to find a place that doesn't mind. I want to prove that it doesn't matter how my hair looks, but that I have great and smart hands. Just because I have a different hairstyle doesn't mean I dress unprofessionally. Same with having showing tattooes. I guess this is my way of "fighting the system"
Well thank you. Its too bad you aren't in Alaska, cause I would totally give you a massage. So what do you do? Are you in school? What do you do for work?
You get paid for school?!! Thats pretty sweet, do they pay you at a flat rate? Or are you paid based on your grade point average. When you do come to the U.S. totally come to Anchorage, Alaska. I'll be your personal driver and tour guide.
Well thats awesome, what are you majoring in? What do you want to do for a career? Wait you already said your majors are english and french... I can tell, I mean your english seems better than mine.
Well let me just sweeten the pot for you Not only private driver and tour guide, but also cook and masseur. Think about it. ;)
I actually studied japanese in high school, You could be a translator for the U.N. Or work for Interpol.
Alaska is very diverse. We tend to be a little more laid back then most people. I've been told from people who have moved here say that people are a lot nicer then where they came from. It also depends where you go in Alaska. Anchorage is probably the most diverse and open. Outside of Anchorage... not so much. Anchorage is one of the most diverse cities in the U.S. we have sooo many different types of people. We are also very proud state too, we like to brag that we are from Alaska.
Sadly we do still have to consider employment when looking into mohawks. I was recently turned down because I had a mohawk. And its been a pain trying to find a job in massage therapy. First its hard for men in my field and secondly I have a mohawk. But I still have hope and I refuse to cut my hair. I feel if someone doesn't take a stand and try to break stereotype that mohawks aren't professional how will it get accepted?
From what I can tell, it's all made by this company in the US, who ship worldwide although they do warn about expensive shipping abroad for larger amounts.

I got the 2nd brightest one it seems, you have to reallly have a nice bright flourescent light to charge the paint up for awhile. I find the more paint on my trainers, the more the glow itself keeps the other bits glowing longer. Also seems to be glowing brighter now and longer - maybe 'cause the paint has dried out fully. At least 3 hours, then I got bored and it was barely visible then - that was on a little test spot on paper in total darkness. The thicker the layer the better, if it's too thin/small it'll fade quick. My sneakers I can see glow whenever I wake up at night - if I've charged them in some light before I sleep. heh
LOL I think you'll enjoy the paint anyway. From reading on the glowinc forum, they say it can last for up to 10 years, if I remember right. Outdoors or on clothes, well the hot wash is likely to take it off I think. Rain, I'm hoping it'll survive, I think it will, seems pretty waterproof, once dried.
What paint did you buy? Different colours last different times, sadly, reds and oranges are really short they say on that glowinc - I only have the green.
The good thing with it is, that it takes very little time in light to recharge it - so when you go into lighting for even just a minute or two, it'll get much brighter again and keep glowing again.
I usually hang out with good friends somewhere and just take it easy. Every once in a while I'll go to a party or go club hopping. Did you do anything for Valentine's day?
Ah see I wasn't sure about that if other countries celebrate it or not. No I did nothing. I got called into work though to do massages. I was never really into the drinking scene till I turned 21. It also gets a little old drinking with the same people over and over again.
