    Hey man. The plaid is actually tartan cloth from my family's old clan in Scotland (the Lewis of McLeod... or the Kinlachs) that I wrapped around the jacket arm. I glued it on and then secured it with artificial sinew thread around the border and some button studs. I'm not personally from Scotland, but we've got some family from there a few generations back. I figured I'd use some of that tartan cloth to personalize the jacket.
